To
begin we prepare a form in
polystyrene on wich we will build .. |
then
we apply a layer of clay at least
1 cm thick, to the polystyrene form |
and we cover the form completely,
fixing the joins well |

we
begin to give the body a
fairly precise shape |
add
a belt made from a thin strip of clay
|
and
then add the head, which is modelle previously using a light-coloured
clay
|

we
make some thin, cylinder shapes
to form the hair, finishing with a tool |
now
we make an arm
|
then
we make some small clay cylinder
of various lengths to form the fingers |

with
a thin layer of the clay as that used
for the clothes we make the sleeve |
we
attach the clothed arm to the model
|
and
we repeat the operation for
the other arm |

new layer of clay is made for the cloak

a smaller layer of clay for the hood
